Scholar-In-Residence: Rabbi Shawn Fields-Meyer
Rabbi Shawn Fields-Meyer teaches Bible, prayer and spiritual practice throughout Los Angeles. She co-authored, with Noam Zion, a practical spiritual guide to the home rituals of Shabbat, called A Day Apart: Shabbat at Home. She serves as Instructor in Bible at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at American Jewish University. Rabbi Fields-Meyer is also founder and facilitator of Ozreinu, a spiritual support group for Jewish parents of special-needs children. She and her husband, Tom, a journalist, have three sons.
