Summer camp
Camp Ramah is thrilled at the communal dollars being made available to help children come to camp this summer. Below is a list of criteria and links for parent as to what financial incentives and other support are available.

2009 Camp Ramah in CA Financial Aid application
Camp Ramah Sponsored Incentives: Please contact your Conservative Rabbi or synagogue educator for a nomination (do not contact Camp Ramah to receive these grants).
Lowy Conservative Movement Affiliation Incentive: $1000 tuition grant if you meet all three of the following criteria.
You do not live in the San Diego area.- None of your children have previously attended a Camp Ramah in California four week session.
- You are a member of a Conservative movement synagogue.
San Diego Area Incentive: $1250 tuition grant if you meet all three of the following criteria.
- Your family lives the San Diego Area.
- Your child is attending a four week session at Camp Ramah in California for the first time.
- You are a member of a San Diego Conservative movement synagogue.
San Diego Area Returning Camper Incentive: $750 tuition grant.
- Your family received the San Diego Area Incentive in 2008 and your camper is planning to attend camp for 4-weeks. $750 will be automatically applied to your account.
Note: If we have received your camper's nomination and your camper qualifies for the incentive, shortly after enrollment your account will be credited. You may not see this on your first invoice, But it will appear on your end of month invoice. Please contact our office if your camper's incentive does not appear on this second invoice.
- Your family does not live in the Los Angeles area, but between the Pacific Ocean and Colorado.
Other Organizations Incentives/Scholarships:Please Note: An award cannot be applied to a camper's account until the funds are received from these organizations. If you have been notified you are incentive recipient, you may send the tuition balance less the award amount along with your award letter.
Los Angeles Federation
Incentive: $1500 tuition grant for Children Entering Grades 3-10 in
Fall 2009 and attending for 3 or more weeks. For complete eligibility criteria

Los Angeles Federation Returning Camper Incentive: $500 tuition grant (pending 2009 approval).
Foundation for Jewish Camp Incentive: $1800
tuition grant for non-Los Angeles residents. For complete eligibility
